Feature Requests

Currently, the actions assigned to Teams do not show up in Resourcing app.

We have different workspaces for each of our departments, but some of the Resource settings like Placeholders often need to be configured the same across our workspaces. We also have users who are part of multiple department workspaces (particularly IT resources who are often tasked to support multiple project initiatives across different departments), and it would be nice if their profile information in Resources would sync across all workspaces. Alternatively, it would make it less daunting and time consuming if we at least had the ability to export/import settings.

We utilize external users for our resource scheduling and most are not directly accessing hive. Current we can not update or add name details until they accept... but we have people that will never accept and weren't even notified to be able to accept. Admins need to be able to update user info at any time and that should be able to be included on the original invite.

It would be helpful if we could add user OOO days, and have users grayed out if trying to assign an action to someone who's OOO.

Currently, exporting Resourcing doesn't allow users to adjust the date range. It would be very helpful if a user can choose which date range to export.

For some teams, roles and placeholder names are not a 1:1 match. In the resourcing export today, you are able to see the role and the assignee, but you do not see the placeholder name, which can sometimes be an important piece of data to capture. It would be helpful to see all three pieces of information in the same export.

With work schedules becoming more flexible and remote work becoming the norm, it would be incredibly useful if users could set their own work hours, both on a regular basis and with the flexibility to adjust them weekly if needed. Additionally, all users should be able to view their colleagues' availability in a calendar-like dashboard, making collaboration and scheduling more efficient. Resourcing should reflect time tracked and subtract that from the remaining hours. For instance, if a project has 8 hours over two days, it's currently set to 4 hours / day. However, if someone works on that project for 6 hours on the first day and only has 2 hours of work to do the next day, they're still blocked for 4 hours which throws off the resourcing view. Additionally, we may plan to spend 6 hours on one day and 2 on the other but are unable to break up the task that way which results in the appearance of being over- or under-resourced. We also have the need to pause a longer project for a day. For instance, we may need to switch to other projects and come back to the longer project the next day, but that project is still showing up as needing time during that pause day.
