Feature Requests

Would like the option to "follow" a note and get notified if changes are made to it (maybe not every single change but once per day or something?). We have been using notes for productions and it would be nice to know when someone goes in to add information to it without them needing to actively share it in a group chat or something.

Right now if a new staff member joins they need to be added to each note one by one. This is time intensive and not very helpful.

At the moment, you can highlight text in yellow, that's it. I would like to have the option of highlighting text in different colors (green, red, orange, purple etc.).

Would like the ability to take attendance in notes associated to meetings. Some way to mark who is and is not present at a meeting. Just add the check mark item that you already have for task completion next to each name.

Right now, anytime a new note is created it is private until shared with the team, even when added to a project that has a team associated with it. This means people make notes and then forget to share so no one can find anything until we ask "did you make that note? can you share?". I would prefer to set our team to automatically make notes viewable to all team members, unless you explicitly go into the notes setting and switch to private.

It is great that we can now attach comments to specific passages in notes. The passages get highlighted in orange to indicate there is a comment attached to it. If there are many comments in a note, the note will get quite "orange"... We can only add, edit or delete a comment at this point. Please make it possible to resolve a comment. The comment gets greyed out or (even better) hidden but can be made visible again if needed so that the information is not lost; the passage should no longer be highlighted. Add a button to display hidden / resolved comments.

Currently we are not able to copy and paste our tables that we make in entries. Moving these tables into the next entry is therefore requires another creation of a table.

We have Google workspace and are not using Gemini note taker for all online meetings. I want my Gemini notes to automatically be loaded into the HIVE note that I create based on the calendar invite. When the reminder pops up in Hive, I click on TAKE NOTES. I use that note for my note taking, but currently my Gemini note taker does not automatically associate the notes transcript to the Hive note.

Currently, a user cannot delete a Note that was created by a removed user.
