Feature Requests

I am often working late at night or on the weekends. I do not want to bother other team members with tasks coming their way on this off time. I would like the ability to schedule exactly when an action card will become visible/assigned. For an example, I might do work on a Friday evening, but I want to create an action card, but not have it visible or register as a task until Monday morning.

Many times, we want to @ mention everyone assigned to a card in a comment to let them know what's going on. Currently, we have to add each person manually which can be a lot of there are 8 or 9 people all assigned together on a card.

It would be useful to be able to turn off the link previews in hive action card chat comments. The option can be quite messy if there are multiple links in a comment. If it could mirror the functionality seen in SLACK it would be good, or just being able to remove it per link would be helpful.

It would be great if a user can customize this to their desired time. Right now it's 15 minutes but it would be great if a user can change this to 24 hours.

As a project member, I can connect an action to a related action in another project so that both project teams can be aware of related actions. Ex: Team A launched the original iteration of a campaign landing page. Team B is now building a new version of the campaign landing pages. Team B wants to wants to connect their action card to the card with the work history from Team A so they have it as reference if needed. These actions are not dependent up one another, just related. This could expand on the dependencies function by adding others ways actions can be related. Including: Is dependent upon (or depends on) Is blocked by (or blocks) Relates to Is duplicated by (or duplicates) (this is from Jira issue linking)

The new feature where an action card opens just by clicking on it is not helpful, and creates more clicks than necessary. For example, if I'm clicking multiple actions to link them together or drag them, I first have to close the first action card I click on before I'm able to select other action line items.

Currently, there are a plethora of icons that appear on action cards depending on what is being utilized. While they can super helpful and I don't want them to leave, it would be nice to choose options on which icons you'd want to see to prevent more clutter on the screen when they are dozens of them all at once.

We have team members that are on different projects that eventually work on the same card, but need to have a separate card in their project until the two cards come together... Also, I work with some property packages that may have 6 properties under the same seller. I separate them out during the active deal but grouping them into one but still being separate on one card would be fabulous! This may not make sense to you but would help us tremendously.

Currently, you can only add "child" labels to "parent labels" but can't add anymore nesting. I'd love to be able to add more sub labels just like you can in Projects.

It'd be great if there was a way to set up an automatic naming convention for projects and actions that are created. Choosing things like YYMM(Date) - Custom Field - Original Title and have that be established across the workspace would be really helpful in keeping things clean and organized. It'd also be cool if we can set it in forms so that every time a project or action is submitted, it comes in with the naming convention already attached.
