An important piece of information was shared in a chat. However, I cannot remember when it was said and it would be cumbersome to scroll through all the messages. Having a search for keywords function within chats and group chats would be really helpful.

You can search for chat messages:
Click in the search bar, select the tab "Messages" (and filter if necessary).
Admittedly, it would be more user-friendly if there was a search box in the chat window.
