Timesheet Category Nesting would be incredibly helpful to obtain granular data on all projects we manage in Hive. Timesheet categories in Hive do not support sub-categories. You can create multiple categories for time entries, but they are all at the same (top) level—there’s no hierarchy or nesting for sub-categories. If you need to organize your categories further, you can use naming conventions (like “Client: Design” and “Client: Development”) to simulate sub-categories, but they will still be treated as separate, flat categories in the system We would like to consider using Hive for time tracking, however, we require 3 layers of reporting in our current process that we are unable to mimic in Hive: Project Level, Country Level and Project Phase Level (ex: ABC Project + US + Project Planning).

When users enter backdated time to their time tracking, we need to have a record of the date on which the time was entered.

Currently, the Time Tracking export does not include parent action card info.

I'm frequently logging time on the main time entry sheet and often juggle at least a dozen different client projects in a week. The default sorting mode on the time entry sheet can make it hard for me to find the project I'm looking for and can interrupt my workflow. I'm not sure if it's sorting by recency or the amount of time logged, but the result is that when I revise a time entry directly from the sheet (without clicking into the action card), that row will often disappear and jump to the bottom. This is confusing and frustrating. I can set it to sort my entries alphabetically by project, but it won't stay that way if I leave the time sheet and come back, or switch to a different week. I would like the option to keep the sort always applied, so I don't have to constantly re-toggle the alphabetical option.

As a user I want my team to be reminded of an incomplete timesheet prior to the timesheet locking so that we can ensure compliance.

Our organisation has matrix management structures. Project team members have dual or multiple managerial accountability. Therefore, it is very important we can set more than one approver/manager for users timesheet submissions.

This will help users prevent changing already approved Timesheet and cause confusion in billing.

At present the only way to report on time descriptions/comments is to export a report. It would be better to be able to review and report on these on the Hive app without having to use an exported report.

Place record time button/icon besides the sub action name so we don't need to go inside the sub action page to click the record button each time.

It would be very helpful if we could set up presets in timesheet reporting, similar to how we can set up in Table View. It's very time consuming to set up the same filters for reporting every week
