Feature Requests

Please extend Timesheet form to allow users to: 1) select an Action Card to which to log time for the specified Project, 2) populate Timesheet with all time recorded to-date for specified Projects/Action Card for period selected, 3) record/update Action Card time to match what is submitted via Timesheet. (In short, synchronize what is shown in Timesheet with what is shown in Action Card, and vice versa. Allow users to enter time through Action Card, Timesheet or both with same results: time is recorded to Action Card.)

Our agency operates in a retainer-based partnership model, and therefore budgets for many of our accounts are recurring as opposed to fixed cost. To make the budget feature usable for our agency, we would require the ability to set budgets by date range. Ideally we would be able to fluctuate that budget as needed, as many clients have variable budgets based on marketing season or things such as a global pandemic. For example of the ideal flexibility, Jan 1 - Jan 30 = 5000$ Feb 1 - Mar 2 = 2500$ etc.

Recording time while I work takes time. Hive doesn't have yet something of handy and immediate. So, what I do, is using https://toggl.com/track/ and, once a week, I move the records to Hive. Having a similar system on Hive would be amazing, but an integration between the two apps would also be helpful. Here are the possible improvements for the current system: 1_ add the possibility to add a description to the time that I am recording. 2_ have the possibility to have multiple "start and stop" in the top bar, so I can easily switch between tasks 3_ Plugin for browser?

It would be super helpful and a time saver when working on the main task and setting the estimated times to modify the times for each sub-action in the main task instead of going into each one to modify it.

When assigning tasks with start and due dates, and there is a popup that says "OOO Conflict for [Assignee Name]", it would be very helpful to say in the popup what the conflicting OOO dates are. This would eliminate the need to minimize the task, switch to the resourcing tab, search for the person and their out of office dates and be interrupted in the workflow.

Although we can export timesheet to calculate the sum of each column here, it would still be nice to quickly see the Total remaining budget or billed amount for a selected number of projects. We should also have this Totals row when we apply filters to narrow down the data.

It would be helpful to have the ability to put a comment in each day of a Time Sheet Entry rather than one comment per category per week. At the very least, the ability to post more than one comment per week. It seems to save and not allow further entries after you post one comment.

We have noticed that whenever a project is archived the time spent on that disappears from the list. If we want to report time spent by personnel in the last few months and projects were archived (closed), we were not able to obtain the time spent on the projects. Unarchiving the project would allow seeing this time again but it is unpractical to unarchive approx. 10 projects to report the time spent on them by personnel.

Admin can create a timesheet for a user but they can't delete it. Please allow Admins to delete other user's Timesheets.
