Feature Requests

Problem: Current GIF search feels limited and misses relevant results. Solution: Enhance search UX (more results, trending/categories, better relevance, larger picker). Value: Faster, more useful communication and less frustration.

Problem: Draft-containing chats get buried, so users miss them. Solution: Automatically place conversations with drafts at the top (or add a “Drafts” section). Value: Improves visibility and reduces unfinished communication.

Problem: Drafts can be lost on device changes, or cleared storage. Solution: Save drafts to the database per user + thread/action. Value: Reliable drafting across devices and sessions.

Problem: Users forget they have unsent drafts because there is no visual indicator. Solution: Display a pencil/draft icon on chat threads with a saved draft. Value: Fewer lost drafts, faster follow-through.

The Edit icon is located next to the Delete icon, which sometimes leads to misclicks and accidental message deletions without confirmation. Adding a confirmation modal would help prevent unintended deletions. Alternatively, an undo option after deleting a message or changing the placement of the Edit and Delete icons could also solve the issue.

instead of messaging opening up within the same URL, having the ability to pop out the whole messaging section to keep separate from the main view.

I need to be able to see that the group is locked and that only the creator of the group can add others. Otherwise, it isn't secure messaging, which is a problem.

Often times I correct spelling mistakes in messages. Editing the message resends a notification thereby spamming anyone being notified and duplicates the bell icon notification

Turn a message into an action using /action

I'd like to be able to navigate to the project chat from within the project itself to make it easier/quicker to find. I'd also like to see a search function within the chat to be able to find specific messeges easier
