Wouldn't the request be easier to find if the title specified that it is about using "attached" or linked (rather than uploaded) files in Hive's proofing and approvals rounds? The main point of all merged requests is that proofing and approval can be used with shared docs and Microsoft / Google's track changes feature.

Maria Steger: The ability to link from an outside source into proofing and approvals is not possible given the infrastructure of proofing. We can make it easier to upload documents but we won't be able to support linking.

Kelley Bunge: Then the requests should be kept separate. Make uploads easier and link files, which all of the merged requests ask for. It would not be fair to the users to mark this request as complete once uploading has been made easier.

Our team works primarily in dynamic (Google Docs / Slides) not static (uploaded files) tools. Workaround is to add links in Comments on a Card, but would prefer to use the Approvals section... even if Proofing work happens on another site.
