I talked this over with my team. Everyone is confused and frustrated by the change, which makes notifications unusable! I do not understand what on earth your UX team was thinking. I had to tell everyone not to use or rely on notifications for any action.

This is bad enough for us to consider other solutions. Please let me know ASAP if this issue will be resolved or reversed.
