Whilst there is a workaround to achieve this it is not intuitive and you have to reset it each time you reload the Hive App.

There should be an option for example under the 'Sort by' field to select Overdue tasks under each of the boards.

The current workaround you have to be in table view to set the overdue criteria and then switch back to say 'Team View'. Very clunky and annoying that it looses this filter when you reload the app - as I have shared this summary view with others who are not so comfortable with Hive and then don't trust the view to give them the right results.
