Subaction ID number should correspond to parent action ID number

When exporting from table view, there's no way to tell which items are subactions. It would be great if the ID assigned to subactions corresponded to their action ID, i.e. - 1234_A is a subaction of action ED 1234

Yes please! For us, the Parent ID represents the project as a whole (say, an infographic) and the subactions correspond to steps that must be taken by different people to complete the project (say, copyediting, design, and Section 508 compliance). The action card IDs climb way too quickly (we've only been using Hive for a month and we're nearing 900), and it would be way easier to sort and find subactions if they shared the parent ID plus a sub-number (such as 1234A and 1234B).

It would be even better if we could decide which scheme (text + numerical) we would like to use: https://hiveteams.canny.io/feature-requests/p/action-id-settings-custom-hierarchical-numbering-conventions-custom-text-numeric

Completely agree with this - we use the ID as our reference number for the job, which means data, artwork and all correspondence includes the ID number - but as we're working across multiple teams with multiple sub actions, each team has a different ID for the same overall job which causes confusion. It would make more sense to number the sub actions based on the parent 1234_1, 1234_2 etc.
