Currently proofing requests are only distributed via an automated email from Hive which can often get lost in the inboxes of clients who may not be familiar with Hive. We would much prefer to be able to generate a proofing link that we can share directly with our clients via our own email as opposed to a the auto generated email that hive sends. A good example of this functionality is the way frame.io handles it - you can choose to send emails, or simply copy and paste the link for manual distribution.

I really like the new feature to generate a shareable link to a proof! However, the message an external user receives when clicking the Link and enters the email address is misleading at the moment.
"Looks like you don’t have access to this proof. Please check your email inbox for access to the proof."
It would be clearer to only display the second line of the message.

YES! My team is new to Hive and we LOVE the proofing feature… except for this one hiccup!

PLEASE get this done... Seems like a simple feature. I keep having clients miss my proofs because they miss the emails from HIVE. OR give us the ability to customize these emails.

Agreed -This is NEEDED very badly. The approval Hive emails not only get lost in spam, but sometimes they don't work - or they make a user download a desktop app for hive (and don't show our company/brand anywhere so the client doesn't even know it's for us).
