This is now live! You can reorder columns in Gantt view by dragging a column header to a new position. Your order is saved and stays in place when you reload. Fixed columns stay where they are, and shared Gantt views show your saved order (read-only).

Definitely needed here. We use a few different columns and they flow better in a specific order. Table view has this already so why not gantt ?

Agree. We work with other spreadsheets and keeping the columns in the same order makes it much easier to cross-reference.

Agreed. Because the order of columns is based on (locked to) the custom field creation date, I often have to recreate a field just so it appears in the order I need it. We can reorder fields in other views...we should be able to do this in Gantt!

Yes, fully agreed. This is a needed feature. A basic feature, I would say.
