Relative Date Conditions in Forms with Business Day Support
Gustavo Parreira
Currently, conditional rules in Hive Forms allow us to compare date fields only against fixed calendar dates.
I'd like to have the option to create conditions based on relative dates, such as "1 day from today," "5 days from today," or "10 days from today."
Ideally, this would also include the same functionality available in Set Dynamic Date Range, allowing us to include or exclude weekends and holidays when calculating those dates.
For example, we could create a condition that checks whether a requested delivery date is less than 5 business days from today and displays an additional question or warning message.
This would allow us to create smarter, more dynamic forms that respond to the requester's input.
One important use case is rush request warnings. If our standard turnaround time is 5 business days and someone selects an earlier delivery date, we could automatically display a warning explaining that their request will be considered a rush.
This would help us set expectations before requests are submitted, reduce manual follow-ups, and improve the overall intake process.
