Current year dates in PV used to just show month/day. Now they include the year, a change that appears to have been prompted by a previous feature request. However, when you are in table view and have several action columns and numerous rows, inclusion of the year digits makes it harder to see the month/day. Including the year in dates for future years is helpful, but including the year for current year dates clutters the view.
