Hi all, many thanks for raising this. We've made a lot of changes to Portfolio View since this was raised. Is this still an issue?

John Furneaux: Great question! I think it is much better than before (before and after pictured below). If you're going for total visibility optimization, it could be reduced by maybe 60 pixels. Overall, though, I believe it's not a big deal at this point.

Our team uses Portfolio View to share project information with leadership. When we're doing that, often we don't have any tasks/milestones we're sharing; just the projects themselves. But the column headers are still very tall and reduce the real estate available for viewing. Makes it hard to see more than 3-4 rows at once. Ideally, if there are no tasks selected, Portfolio View would reduce the size of the column headers.

Makes portfolio view difficult to read on laptop as this header line creates a significant amount of blank space before the first project is listed.
