At present, users can only either open or archive notifications, which causes the notification list to become cluttered over time. In most cases, once I have addressed a notification and opened the related action, I rarely need to revisit the notification.

Introducing an option for notifications to automatically archive themselves after being opened would significantly improve organisation and usability. By reducing unnecessary items in the notification panel, users can focus on what truly requires their attention.
