Horizontal View of Actions in Portfolio View

Can the columns for actions in portfolio view be made expandable so that we can see the descriptions written horizontally as opposed to vertically? We can adjust the size of columns for custom field but not actions. It would help in viewing the portfolio.

There is a cursor that makes it seem that columns are adjustable in Portfolio View, but I am not actually able to adjust them.
