This will allow you to invite clients to a project where they can view a very simple client portal which shows associated Email, Forms (submitted/unsubmitted), Files, Calendar.
As a Hive App the Client portal could be configured at the workflow template level so forms etc are automatically applied to projects for external clients.
17Hats, Dubsado, SuiteDash - all do the job but combined with Hive this would be a gamechanger and a one stop shop. I have tested all of the platforms available and they all fall short on the project management side, so this would be a game changer.
We have a wedding stationery business so client portals are extremely helpful to keep everything organised and very simple on the customer facing side.
If it's not possible then an integration with https://www.joinportal.com would be great (albeit expensive for what they offer)
I have attached 2 examples of the customer facing side

Sending Workflow Emails Based on Email Address In Action

With the new ability to send emails via workflows, it would be nice to send an email to an individual based on their email that is recorded in an action card not just emails to users in Hive. We use forms to intake design requests, so being able to send an email once that card moves into In Review (or any Status) to the Requestor or also if the card is sitting In Review for X numbers of days also sending an email to the requestor.

Chris Revell I'm going to merge this in with another request we have for 'client portals'! We're currently working on a seamless way for form submitters to get updates on the requests they submit. I think you're going to love it!

Kelley Bunge this is so exciting! You may already be incorporating this, but if not…it would be great to have a way to retain privacy on certain parts of action cards and not on others. We use the Comments section to discuss our clients’ tasks internally and want to be able to speak freely there. New hires might ask how to do a certain component of the work, for example. We would like to be able to mark Comments as only visible internally while still allowing clients to see the status and other features of their tasks through a client portal.

I would like to see this for gantt chart type projects where clients can see what phase their in, what deliverables are due, and what things require their approval. If they don't provide deliverables or approval by an action due date, then they will need a reminder email.

+1 - another option would be to provide iframe embed code so we can show client project status
