Auto Scheduling should work in ALL views

"Auto scheduling" should work in other Views. If I've set dependencies and I update a date on one task, it should update automatically no matter what view I'm in, not just if I'm in Gantt view. Not everyone works in Gantt View.

When action cards are hidden, they are not updated by 'auto scheduling'

When a project is in strict mode within the Gantt view, action cards hidden by filters are not automatically updated. This creates inconsistencies in project data, especially since key information like dependencies or scheduling adjustments are not recalculated when cards are filtered out.
Impact:
Data Inconsistency: Due to the lack of auto-updates, project timelines and dependencies may become inaccurate.
Workload calculations are skewed because filtered tasks aren’t included in the recalculations, which could lead to incorrect resource planning and task distribution.
Applying any type of filter, even if temporary, can lead to issues where the project doesn't reflect the most current data.

Enforce Gantt Chart Properties (e.g., duration and auto-scheduling) in all Layouts
M
Mark Kostroun
Provide an option for Action/Subaction properties set in the Gantt Chart (e.g., duration, auto-scheduling) to persist and be enforced in all layouts.
The predominant issue with dependencies is that auto-scheduling is ignored in other layouts. The predominant issue with durations is that actions can easily get compressed instead of shifting. There are probably other properties, but these are the ones I hand at the top of my mind.
After spending the time setting up a project in the Gantt Chart, it is frustrating to be thwarted by a careless user in the Status View. Also, this option would facilitate bulk editing in the table view without worrying as much about destroying the Gantt Chart.

Allow Auto Scheduling to work even if the change was made in other views.

Currently, the auto scheduling feature works if the change is made in the gantt view. It would be helpful if auto scheduling worked even if the date change was made in other views. (Summary View, Portfolio View, Resourcing App, Calendar View, Kanban View, Table View, Notes, etc)

Yes, this is a major gap since we rely on a summary view to manage our video producer's schedule. It takes so much time to jump back and forth between the summary view and Gantt.

This would really benefit our team. We assign out new work requests using the resourcing tool, and it's very inconvenient to have to jump back and forth between Gantt and the resourcing tool, just to keep the dependencies intact. It also doesn't notify you whenever the tool "breaks" the dependencies; so often we don't realize a timeline has "broken" dependencies until we see it in the Gantt view. This seems more like a glitch that needs to be addressed than a new feature.
