Auto-archive due date notifications when marking complete

Once an action has been marked complete, the "due today" notification is no longer relevant. It would be great if marking an action complete would automatically archive any "due today" notification for that action in my inbox.

What if you could get notifications to disappear once the action is marked complete? For example, if I complete an action and it is in my list of notifications, is there a way for the two things to communicate with each other and have the notification go away without me archiving it?

This request refers to archiving notifications about completed actions with one click. It is still not quite what you hope for, but it may help?
