Workflows need to allow action card templates to apply to subactions created from a workflow. The workflows app currently allows you to create a subaction from a trigger, but you can't apply an action card template to that subaction. The system says "Subactions will not be affected by the ‘Apply action template to’ workflow option."

An example of how this would work.

Workflow 1: When action status changes to X >> Create a Subaction with the Title "Quality Check"

Workflow 2: When an action is created (condition: Title= Quality Check) >> Apply action card template.
