For many projects that go multi-month but not an entire year the gant view is difficult to use to step back and look at the project as a whole. With yearly view, it's to broad of a view and monthly doesn't show enough.
Considering adding some of these options:
  • "Next 3 months"
  • "Next 6 months"
  • "Fit to project" - which would make the scale to fit the whole project based on project dates.
  • Allow the user to input start date and end date to show in the scale view
