Add a badge and number for new messages in chat

It would be easier for consumers if the mobile app had a badge to indicate the number of new messages in the chat. Sometimes its hard to know if you have new messages awaiting you there. the chat section should have a badge and number like your messaging app and email do but within the app and over the chat icon like pictured

Yes, badge number would be great. *** Along with showing a new messages indicator AFTER the chat thread is clicked to signal to the user which are new messages.
