Similar to in excel or google sheets. Totals could be tabulated by selecting cells with numerical values or at the bottom of the columnsrequested by E. Camera @ WJU

Eric Typaldos So glad it's under review!! It's been 5 years since this feature was first noted / requested. And it certainly looks like it would help so many users.

Kris – hi, of course. I'm wondering if you have super specific details of your use case that you could share as we work on this.
We recently extended formula custom fields to support some new functionality which we're building on to use here.
Any details about your use case can help us ensure our released solutions work well for you!

Hi Eric. Here's how another PM tool does it below. Simple addtion. Note that as long as I've set a column up as "Number" it will automatically create a sum field. Then no matter how I filter, the sum column will always tally just those filtered fields. It's incredibly useful. No craziness in terms of users having to input our own formulas like nuclear scientists! The app does it for us.

Almost 2 years since this request and with multiple votes but still nothing. This would save tons of time for those that use the table view. Copy Excel subtotals functionality please!

Show Estimate Totals in Table View

How cool would it be to be able to see the total of estimates in table view based on your filter set? I think it would be pretty dang cool. In fact, i would venture to say that I spend so much time exporting from the Timesheets view and building out extra dashboards to see what this would give me, that this update would give me about 4 hours a week back to my day. That's mad cool - please help a sister out!

There is another action that is the same as this one, suggest you combine them so you can see how many people are requesting this
"Show Estimate Totals in Table View" is the name of the other one.

Sooo important, especially for estimated and actual times. However first the bug where table view doesn't roll up the times correctly would have to be fixed for this to work correctly.

This would be soooo helpful, not having to export or manually count every time I'm trying to resource...

100% agree. Total time, estimated time... It seems easy to add a subtotal that you could play with filters. Going a little above and beyond, for status it could show % of tasks completed, counting tasks, etc. I would be a great addition to the project. We are always with a calculator in our meetings.
