It would be great if we could restrict an action from being in progress or completed, if its dependency action is not completed. Currently I can move forward with an action even though the dependency action is not completed. That makes it very confusing.

Dependencies only show a graphic that links to the other task. It doesn't prevent the task from being marked as complete! If someone misses the graphic, this is useless.
