Currently there is not an option to remove yourself from a group/project chat without leaving the project. This is an issue because there are many cases where being on the project for visibility is necessary but you are not needed on the days to day chat for the project.

Many times you don’t need to be a part of the conversation on a project but you do need access to the timing and resources used. If you could update this function it would stop a lot of unnecessary

notifications in groups/project chat.
