Ability to deactivate tool kit at the top of the proof area with numerous editing and commenting options (so that we can use the Proofing environment to upload a document that contains instructions and a link to a Word or PowerPoint file and external reviewers don't get distracted or confused).

Hive's Proofing tool / environment is certainly great for many use cases.
But it is not ideal for revising texts and teams that collaborate in MS 365 (esp. Word). Each and every requested change needs to be copied / pasted and can't just simply be accepted / rejected.
Since it looks like https://hiveteams.canny.io/feature-requests/p/google-drive-sharepoint-linked-documents-for-approvals will not be implemented any time soon, how about this:
Add the ability to deactivate the approval tool kit.
This way, we could use the Hive Approvals tool for external approvers. They would be taken to the Hive Proofing environment but wouldn ot have the option to add comments or request changes in the "proof".
Instead we could upload a page with review instructions and a link to the shared Word or PowerPoint file for the external reviewers to see when they click "View Proof" in the email they get.
