Maria Steger I wish sound functioned more like a cell phone. Or Slack. Pick your tones for different people and different things, and turn up the volume all you want. That's what I still need!

Emily Autry Same here! Today, someone had to wait about an hour for my reply because I was in deep-focus mode and completely missed the "plop".

It would be great if I could set extra-loud alerts for specific people — basically a siren — when I really need to respond right away. Even better: for certain people, the alert should repeat if I miss the first one, for example because I’m not at my desk when it comes in.

When someone pings me in Hive, I never get audible alerts to my desktop. The tiny sound it does make, if I can catch it, is like a mouse fart. It is very easy to miss stuff, and if forces me to just stalk the platform all the time...and I still miss stuff. Whether someone @mentions me or assigns me an action, please give us audible alert options for desktop and mobile! 
I just don't like that I have to hunt for things and cannot hear this tiny alert. It's still not clear to me what this alert is for, and why I can't have an audible alert for multiple things. 
Can we have desktop and mobile options for louder alerts? For @mentions, assignments, deadline changes, upcoming deadlines, comments, action cards created by others in our projects (if we are the owner) and action status changes for instance?
