Set a project's default bill rate and cost rate once, and let its sub-projects inherit them, including sub-projects added later. Individual project rates and role-specific rates keep priority over the project default.
You can optionally apply the change to historical time within a selected date range. People, roles, and sub-projects with their own rates retain them, and changes are recorded in project bill rate history.

Select Set project rates on the Project bill rates card or on a project in the dashboard Bill Rates widget. Set either or both defaults and, if needed, choose a historical date range.Who it helps:
