Feature Requests

It would be great feature to provide a proofer that can add an url to markup. A good example is https://www.markup.io .

We have a situation where we have a group of approvers assigned to an approval request to allow for rapid response. Once one person out of the group responds, we would like for the stage to be marked as completed, and for the approval to be removed from the To Dos of the other approvers in that stage.

Allow Gifs to play in the proofing area

It would be amazing to have the ability for a shared Google Doc or Microsoft Word document to be linked in an action card's approvals rather than it generating a PDF for review with annotation. Our team would love to be able to link out to the shared doc from the approval in the action card, suggest any changes, and then return for approval/denial/request changes.

Every other video review tool has them in start to finish from top to bottom, hive has finish to start from top to bottom - very confusing.

Adding an option within the approval function to uploaded and add signatures directly to the documents, similar to adobe sign. It could be similar to adding a stamp, but instead an actual signature. At the moment we have to download, add signature, and reupload the document.

Only PDFs and files can be added for approval. Most agencies are using Adobe XD for website designs, and many other projects require reviewing a link, not a PDF. It would be great to be able to add a link that can be assigned for approval to multiple people, just like a PDF can. Even if it doesn't work with the markup tool, just having the link shown there with deadlines and approvers assigned would be immensely helpful for most creative workflows.

The proofing tool flattens and converts all uploaded files into a PDF, which loses any of the original source documents features and can also distort / destroy the original documents styling. it also has limitations for any form of web site proofing and markup. While it would take a technical investment it would be greatly beneficial to migrate to a proofing tool that doesn't convert file type on upload but keeps the original format and adds the markup layer on top of it. This would allow for a more true to source proofing as well as increased feature flexibility for websites / emails / dynamic content.

Currently, when downloading a video proof you can either download as a pdf with timestamps and frames for each annotation, or download the video without annotations. Users would like to download the video file with annotations overlayed and appearing based on their timestamp

When a new project is created based on a project template, the approval stages on action cards appear in reverse order. This looks like a bug. The stages should show up in the same order as they are in the template.
