Our workspace utilizes Forms for project intake with a standardized set of subactions populated by an attached action card template. Some subactions on this action card are consistently assigned to the same member of the workplace, while some subactions must be dynamically assigned with each form submission based on a selected user in a dynamic form field. Previously, the action card's automatic "inherit from parent" behavior helped automate the correct assignation of the project owner to the relevant subaction fields (which were left unassigned in the action card template). The new change forces us to manually assign all of the unassigned subactions, which has significantly slowed our project intake. The apply-to-all assignee overwriting function on the Hive card does not help us here, as we need is mixed assignment: some template steps always the same person, others are filled from the dynamic user field in the linked form. We are looking for the old inherit-from-parent behavior as we do not need to leave those subactions unclaimed.

Prior to this update, my task boxes in my weekly calendar view were beautiful and vibrant colors - which really helped me to visually organized my tasks by each client and project. This recent update has made the task boxes lighter and it is MUCH harder to see and is absolutely awful for visual organization of tasks. A lot of people use colors to visaully organize things and this is just terrible. It would have been better if Hive provided more customization for the color scheme to be able to still be in light mode but have the vibrant colors for their projects. However, making this change and not allowing us to keep the old vibrant colors is just awful, visually. I may have to look for something else now because the color options with Hive were a big reason I chose this software.

Hive updated the Timesheet interface and now the columns are all wonky, there is a huge amount of deadspace and columns cannot be adjusted. It is not as user friendly. I would like to advocate for Hive not changing layouts without focus grouping the changes through a user panel.

I am trying to build some automations (currently using Codex), but ran into a blocker because Hive does not expose a tool that can pull/see project draft mode status. This is causing the automations to pull actions that aren't ready due to draft mode being enabled. I can't filter out draft mode projects with the current MCP tools available.

Make content easier to read in conversations and action cards. It's helpful to set different text colors and create titles subtitles emphasize words paste some(): small(code, snippets)

Bring in Hive Mail into the Mobile App

A Resourcing Widget would mirror the core functionality of Hive's Resourcing app in a compact dashboard format. How Resourcing works: The Resourcing app is a timeline-based scheduler that shows team members as rows and time periods as columns. It displays resource assignments (who's working on what projects), capacity utilization (hours allocated vs. available), time-off periods, and overallocation warnings through color-coded cells and bars. The widget would provide: A condensed view of this same data showing key capacity metrics, utilization percentages Perfect for: Quick daily check-ins on team capacity, spotting resource bottlenecks at a glance without navigating to the full Resourcing view.

When managing the RAID cycle users may need to export the contents of the Risks & Issues project tab. Please enable the export function for this tab to support this.

Currently, if you filter by Due date and set it to show, for example, actions in the next 30 days, Hive will also include actions where the start date/duration falls under the filter. Hive is capturing actions not exactly with a Due Date in the next 30 days, but also if the action spans the desired date range. It'd be helpful to make it look strictly at the Due Date.
